FOOD IS FREE

The Basin Food is Free project is part of the community garden in The Basin with the aim being that anyone can head down to the "Food is Free" garden and help themselves to what ever fruit or veggies are in season.

The project is located on the corner of Liverpool road and Mountain Hwy The Basin

The Basin community garden is open to anyone with a yearly fee of $100 per plot.

By having a plot you will agree to spending 3 hours per month in The Food is Free area so that we can share free fresh fruit and veggies to those in need.

The Basin Backyard is a proud supporter of THFF and the Food is Free Tecoma project, this is a great local project in Tecoma where locals can go to the garden or Food cupboard and help themselves to what is there, so if you have produce you would like to donate please get in touch with them.
